a few friends of mine have pointed out i have an alarming number of "author avatar" characters, including one that is point blank an "author avatar"

they then complain about such characters and how nothing bad EVER happens to them, without ever putting any real thought into why this would be, i made this hilarious little short story to shows exactly why such characters are typically invinicble.


well... i mean... besides the fact that the people responsible are trying to portray a universe where life DOESN'T suck for them...

oh, right, free request (with some limitations) to anyone that can successfully identify every last reference in this short story, no cheating now.

and in case your wondering, yes, "NDA" has been through ALOT worse, but i have no intention of posting any of it, i only posted this to prove my point that having an author avatar leads to things you simply will not enjoy, this is actually a good day for the poor fictional counterpart to me, so you can imagine what a bad day is like. also a mild explanation was given here as well for why a retcon of my main series was necesary either way, so there you have it, i've fulfilled my request for more stuff with me in it, wrote a comedy story, tested my rusty literature skills, chased in on an actual bet, and finnally posted something on dA for the first time in forever. comments are appreciated and will be responded to almost guaranteed. all 2 of you ^^
